Today city tour of Pune including Shaniwar Wada, Raja Dinkar, Kelkar Museum, Parvati Hill, and Katraj Snake Park.

Day 03: Pune - Aurangabad - Ellora
Morning drive to Aurangabad. On arrival check into hotel. Later proceed for Ellora Caves. Half way (13 kms) between Aurangabad and Ellora caves is the magnificent hilltop fortress of Daulatabad, which was originally known as Devgiri.
Later visit to Ellora Caves. The world heritage-listed cave temple of Ellora, about 30 kms from Aurangabad, is the pinnacle of Deccan rock cut architecture. The master piece of Ellora is the astonishing Kailasha Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is the world's largest monolithic sculpture. Apart from this there are around 29 Hindu, Buddhist & Jain carved Caves.

Day 04: Aurangabad - Ajanta - Aurangabad
After breakfast drive to Ajanta Caves. The Buddhist caves of Ajanta date from around 200 BC to 650 AD, predating those at Ellora. Ajanta is as well a World heritage site. In 1819 a British hunting party found these caves & soon their remote beauty was unveiled. There are about 30 caves and are famous for its Tempera paintings.
