Besides being picture postcard perfect, Solang valley is the place where you can soar in the skies - literally. This is where we can fly - the green slopes and the moderately strong winds here are ideal for paragliding.
Paragliding is based on the principles of aerodynamics, wind direction and cloud movement as explained by the pilot. The trick lies in lightweight parachute material and the pilot's skill in maneuvering the parachute in midair. The paragliding gear is designed to take on unimaginable weight! Here you can opt for 2 types of flight - Short flight and High flying.
Short flight - The client is taken 100 - 150 mts up the slope and takes a flight along with the pilot in the two-seater paraglider. The flight lasts for approximately 60 - 90 seconds.
